Breguet is one of the world's premier watchmakers, founded in Paris in 1775 by Abraham-Louis Breguet. Now based in Switzerland and part of the Swatch Group, its brand has become reknown for its torbillon watchworks, as well as being known for making both the first self-winding watch and the first wristwatch. Its New York store sits on the southeast corner of Fifth Avenue and 55th Street in the ground floor of the St. Moritz Hotel.
