Central Park Zoo

As Simon & Garfunkel famously sang, "it's all happening at the zoo." The Central Park Zoo, founded in 1861 and administered by the Wildlife Conservation Society, is a 7-acre haven for both kids and adults on Central Park's southeast side; the entrance is on 5th Avenue and East 64th Street and don't forget to say hello to the sea lions!
