Behind two rows of pinkish glass on the northwest corner of Fifth Avenue and 51st Street lies the largest retailer of women's lingerie, Victoria's Secret. Founded in 1979 in California, Victoria's Secret has grown to more than 1000 worldwide stores in addition to being a major player in the mail-order catalog business.
