Fifth Avenue will once again transform into a pedestrian promenade with Holiday Open Streets, inviting New Yorkers and visitors alike to experience the magic of the city’s most iconic thoroughfare. Open streets creates a rare and much-loved opportunity for attendees to stroll freely, shop, and create holiday memories in NYC. The celebration will once again showcase spectacular lights, holiday decor, live entertainment, food and beverage, and one-of-a-kind brand activations. More coming soon!

New York historian Kevin Draper will explore Fifth Avenue’s role as the first global stage for holiday magic. From the origins of its innovative department store displays and legendary holiday windows to the lighting of the Rockefeller Center Christmas tree, attendees will gain an inside look at how Fifth Avenue became synonymous with the season. Tracing history to the present day, the tour highlights the cultural, commercial, and community significance of New York City’s most iconic corridor during the holidays.
